Troubleshooting Checklist

In general when faced with any Wave issue, please first confirm the following:

  • You received your Wave user credentials in two separate email from “Wave" or "support@mckinsey.com,” one containing your username and another one containing your password. Check both your company’s email inbox folder and spam folder.

  • You have an active internet connection.

  • You have connected to Wave from this location and internet connection before.

  • You are connected to your company network/VPN, or using our optional One Time Password functionality.

  • You have Silverlight installed and enabled on your browser. If you are using Safari, please read this

  • You using the recommended browser, Internet Explorer v11+.

  • Your PC has the minimum recommended configuration: Intel I5/17 CPU, GPU Support, minimum 4GB RAM, 1024x768 resolution or higher, Disk space: 100 MB.

  • For Excel report issues, you are using Excel 2007 or later.

If your response to any of the above checklist items is no, or if you are unsure, please contact your company IT support representative and/or your company Wave representative.
